::About the Author::
My name is Lesley Farmer.
I was born in the year 1990 on February under the star sign Aquarius and Chinese Zodiac, the Horse.
I was raised with one eldest brother and my mum and dad. I am very blessed to be with such a great family.
I first discovered my love and talent to draw since I was a little girl. My very first drawing I did was of Simba from The Lion King (Disney) film from the age of 5 years, which I love, and still cry at some scenes up to this day and age. After that, it was Spyro the Dragon and Crash Bandicoot at the age of 7-8 years, which started my love and passion for playing video games.
As I got older and went to secondary school, Pokemon and Digimon were my favourite things to draw during art class.
When I was 14-15 years old, I made two small mini comics as part of my coursework during Art +Design classes and the teachers loved reading it when they come into the room. At the age of 15, I began my GCSE classes and exams, which were Art + Design, Science, Leisure + Tourism, Maths and non-GCSE English. I passed them all with good grades, with Art + Design and English at it's best average grades in the UK/ Northern Ireland.
When I became 16, I moved on to do NVQ Retail Skills qualifications while working alongside Tesco while doing this course. I also did Essential Skills classes and took up Levels 1 and 2 for Literacy and Level 1 Numeracy, which I passed with very good marks.
Afterwards, at the age of 20, the recession hit all around the world, which lead to a lot of people unemployed, including myself. That's when I decided to try and sell some good art at the convention called Q-Con, which is held at Queens University, Belfast. I was successful in earning some money for myself.
I was successful in getting Christmas temporary retail work 3 times in a row.
Currently, I am taking up a course with Train2Game and I am now a 2nd year student at it. The course upon completion will earn me a diploma and a chance to qualify for applying to jobs within the gaming industry.
